The Caribbean Jewel is ideally located in
Rodney Bay where access to all of the island
vacation amenities is at your doorstep. At
the foot of the property is the private end
of Reduit Beach in the clear and tranquil
waters of Rodney Bay. You can bathe or rent
a small sailboat or windsurfer and navigate
the bay. Also on the property waterfront is
some deeper water with rocks, ideal for
snorkeling.
Next to the property are all of the islands
best restaurants featuring a variety of
local and international cuisine. Among the
many restaurants there are shops and
boutiques that have a variety of vacation
and tourist merchandise. Within walking
distance there is a beautiful new mall of
boutiques and craft shops. Also nearby is
some of the island’s hottest nightlife.
There are several clubs with dancing and
live music that winds on into the night. All
of this is right next door to our private
resort.
Nearby but only minutes away and still in
Rodney Bay are many other wonderful things
to do. There is horseback riding which takes
you along the trails of untouched beaches
on the Atlantic Coast. There is a
beautifully maintained 18-hole golf course
complete with clubhouse and driving carts.
For those interested in history, you can
tour Fort Rodney on Pigeon Island. You can
see the ruins of the old British Navy Fort
of Admiral Rodney who fought the French in
The Battle of the Saints.
Rodney Bay is also the home to a large
international marina which offers a variety
of tourist activities. You can sail on a
sunset cruise on an authentic tall ship or
you can arrange a day trip to Soufriere on a
catamaran to see the Pitons and the volcano.
For the more adventurous, you can organize a
fishing charter or a sailing cruise to
neighboring islands. All of these activities
are literally only minutes from our resort
and easy to arrange.
